Dijon and Paula Anderson, LCPC, NCC
STEAM Learning Designer, Educational Leader, Podcaster and President/CEO, PACE Consulting
Ms. Anderson has degrees in Psychology and Community Counseling and is currently working on her PhD in Business Psychology with a Consulting focus at The Chicago School of Professional Psycholo- gy. She is also a licensed clinical professional counselor, licensed in the state of Maryland and a Nation- ally Certified Counselor. Additionally, she is a Board Approved Supervisor in the state of Maryland.
Ms. Anderson has over 20 years of experience providing individual, group, marriage and family therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has worked in school-based mental health, private practice, corporate, federal government, and non-profit settings. Her wealth of experience equips her to work effectively with clients in many settings.
Ms. Anderson was featured in MEA Magazine (May/June 2013) in the feature section “Women in Business, Making a Difference.” She was also recognized and awarded as one of the 25 Influential Women in Business–Making a Difference in October 2013 by the same magazine. In 2014, Ms. Anderson was recognized as a Top 100 MBE in the Washington DC Metropolitan area. Most recently in October 2019, she was featured in MEA Magazine as a “CEO to Watch.”
Dijon & Paula
Dijon and Paula have been married for 23 years and have two amazing boys (21 and 16). Dijon and Paula met 25 years ago in church at a children’s ministry training. In two years, they became best friends, dated, and fell in love. In 1997, they got married and have been riding together ever since.
Dijon is currently an educator at a charter school in Washington, D.C. and has been in the education system for over 10 years. Outside of the classroom, Dijon is a singer both at his church and on national stages! He is infamously known for his bass voice and has at times been called the “voice of God.” Dijon is an amazing father to his boys and has a blog, podcast, and IG page titled, “NOS4Dads” (No Off-Season for Dads) where he frequently shares parenting advice for fathers.
Paula is a licensed therapist and CEO of PACE Consulting, a behavioral health counseling and organi- zational consulting practice in Maryland. Paula, along with her colleagues also co-founded the Renew and Revitalize Marriage & Family Institute. Outside of work and conference planning, Paula enjoys traveling, spending time with her family & friends, and brunching! She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Business/Organizational Psychology.
